Affordability Philosophy

At Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools, we aim to make the Kennedy Experience accessible to all students, regardless of income. We offer financial aid from various sources and strive to keep tuition affordable. Our commitment to providing a quality education at a cost lower than the actual expense is made possible through development efforts and parish subsidies.

For inquiries about tuition, payments, or financial aid, contact the Finance Office at 724-346-5531.

Tuition Payment Options

  • Full Payment: Entire tuition paid by July 1st directly to the school office with no additional fee, offering a 1% savings.
  • Multiple Payments: Tuition paid in two payments ($10 fee/year) or three to twelve payments ($42 fee/year) through the FACTS Tuition Management Plan. This automatic payment plan can be set up through a checking/savings account or credit card.

This plan is an automatic payment plan made through your checking or savings account or through a credit card. Those choosing this plan will authorize their financial institution to make automatic monthly payments to FACTS. Click here for more information about FACTS tuition payments.

FACTS is a tuition collection company that all schools in the Diocese of Erie are mandated to utilize for the collection of tuition.

Financial Aid, Scholarships & Tuition Credit Opportunities

To make the Kennedy Experience accessible to all, we offer financial aid from various sources. We provide numerous financial aid, scholarship, and tuition credit programs to assist families, ensuring that attending Kennedy Catholic High School, Kennedy Catholic Middle School, and Saint John Paul II Elementary School is attainable. Our programs, sponsored by the Diocese of Erie and the Shenango Valley School System, make reasonable tuition within reach for qualifying families.

Finances are never the deciding factor for student acceptance. Adequate aid ensures everyone can access a Catholic education. For more details on financial aid through the Erie Diocese, click here.

Tuition Assistance

Available from the Diocese, school system, and additional sources for families in need. Financial aid packets are sent home annually in January and due by mid-April. Assistance is need-based. Contact the finance office if financial difficulties arise at any time.

Scholarship Endowments

Thanks to donors, Kennedy Catholic benefits from multiple scholarship endowments through the Catholic Foundation of Northwest Pennsylvania. To learn more, contact Lisa Louis at 814-824-1237.

Steps for Financial Aid Consideration:

  1. Student must be registered.
  2. Apply for the Diocesan Tuition Assistance Program/Star Foundation.
  3. Apply for SVCSS’s Tuition Assistance Program/Shenango Valley Foundation.
  4. Consider EITC donations.

Complete steps 1-3 before additional aid is considered. Financial aid determinations are communicated by June 15th.

Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools values our students, families, and partners. To show our appreciation and encourage referrals, we have introduced a Tuition Referral Program.

How it Works:

  • Refer a new school family and receive a reduction in your current year tuition.
  • Credits are awarded after the new family completes registration and pays two months of tuition.
  • For each K-12 student referred, a $250 tuition credit is awarded.

Get Started:

  • Download and provide the inquiry form to the referred family or encourage them to mention your referral to our admissions department.
  • For questions, contact Nicole Perry, Director of Enrollment, at [email protected].

In addition to traditional financial aid, we offer a unique program that provides a stipend equal to the cost of tuition for families who host a foreign exchange student enrolled at Kennedy Catholic Family of Schools. This 20-year-old Exchange Hosting Program allows host families to share culture and experiences with a teenager from another country while obtaining the necessary funding to send their child to our school. The Exchange Hosting Program is a rewarding experience for all involved.
